This workflow action is available on our Business pricing plan with the Status Pages add-on, and on our Enterprise for Incident Management pricing plan. Please contact our Sales Team to upgrade to an account with this action.
Description
Post to an External Status Page and notify subscribers.
Instructions
- If you have not done so already, please follow our instructions to Create an Incident Workflow.
- When you are prompted to add actions , select this action.
- Enter the following Inputs and then click Save. Continue following instructions to Publish the Workflow. When the action runs, you will see the Outputs listed below.
Inputs
Name | Description |
---|---|
External Status Page | Select the External Status Page from the dropdown to post incidents automatically. |
Post status | Select the Status Page status from the dropdown that maps to your conditional trigger: Investigating, Detected or Resolved. |
Message | This message will be posted on the Status Page and sent to incident subscribers. You may optionally add Field References to the message by clicking {+} , or entering {{ , and selecting relevant fields. |
Impact | Select how this incident will impact the status of your page. Select All good, Minor or Major. |
Time until next update | Specify the expected time for the next update to be sent. Make a selection from the dropdown: 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. |
Notifications | Select the box if you would like status page subscribers to be notified. |
Outputs
Name | Description |
---|---|
Result | Value that shows if the action was successful or not. Either "Success" or "Failed." |
Result Summary | Brief description of what the action did or if it failed |
Error | Brief description that is populated if the action failed. |
