Description

Create a new incident on a specified service.

Instructions

  1. If you have not done so already, please follow our instructions to Create an Incident Workflow.
  2. When you are prompted to add actions , select this action.
  3. Enter the following Inputs and then click Save. Continue following instructions to Publish the Workflow. When the action runs, you will see the Outputs listed below.

TitleRequired: The title of the incident
Incident TypeThe type of incident to create
Impacted ServiceRequired: The ID or name of the service impacted by the incident
DescriptionOptional : A detailed description of the incident
UrgencyOptional : The urgency level of the incident (e.g., high, low). Defaults to high.
PriorityThe priority of the incident
Conference URLThe URL of the conference bridge associated with the incident
Conference NumberThe phone number for the conference bridge associated with the incident

NameDescription
Incident IDThe newly-created incident's ID
Incident NumberThe newly-created incident's assigned unique number
Incident URLThe newly-created incident's URL
ResultValue that shows if the action was successful or not. Either "Success" or "Failed."
Result SummaryBrief description of what the action did or if it failed.
ErrorBrief description that populates if the action failed.
