Potential Limitations Based on Slack Configuration
Slack configuration may prevent this workflow action from working in some cases. For example, Slack administrators have the ability to configure an Enterprise Slack workspace to prevent applications from archiving channels that the application itself did not create.
For this reason, we recommend to create your incident dedicated channel using the Create a Slack Channel for an Incident workflow action.
If you run into issues using this action, please create the dedicated channel using PagerDuty, via incident workflows or the PagerDuty Slack or web application.
If you continue to experience issues, please reach out to your organization's Slack administrator.
