Google Chat: Create a Google Chat Private Space

Description
Creates a new private Google Chat space directly from an Incident Workflow. Use this action to automatically provision a dedicated incident collaboration space when a workflow triggers, ensuring responders have a focused channel for real-time coordination without manual setup.
Prerequisites
Before using this action, connect PagerDuty to your Google Workspace:
- Navigate to Integrations Extensions Google.
- Click Connect a new Workspace.
- Select your Google account from the authorization screen and click Continue.
- Click Allow to confirm the integration.
A confirmation message appears when the connection is successful.
Instructions
- If you have not done so, follow the instructions to Create an Incident Workflow.
- When the instructions prompt you to add actions, select this action.
- Enter the following Inputs and click Save.
- Continue following instructions to Publish the Workflow.
- When the action runs, you will see the Outputs listed below.

Tips
- Space Display Name Limit: The space display name must be 128 characters or fewer.
- Dynamic Names: Use field references such as the incident title or number to generate descriptive, unique space names per incident.
- Chaining Actions: Use the Space Name output in subsequent steps — for example, as the space identifier when adding members or sending messages to the newly created space.
