Phone Notification Disclosures

Users who use phone notification services certify and acknowledge the following:

  • You are the subscriber or customary authorized user of the specified phone number.
  • You have the authority to consent to receiving phone calls at the specified phone number.
  • Your personal data will be processed as described in the PagerDuty Privacy Policy.
  • Messages may be sent by: PagerDuty, Inc. (United States); PagerDuty, Inc. (Canada); PagerDuty KK (Japan); PagerDuty Ltd. (United Kingdom); PagerDuty Pty Ltd. (Australia); PagerDuty Switzerland GmbH (Switzerland); PagerDuty Portugal, Unipessoal Lda (Portugal); PagerDuty Chile SpA (Chile).
  • Call rates and other connection charges may apply.
  • The frequency of notifications sent may vary depending on multiple factors, including the rate of incident occurrence, incident response, and incident resolution. You may receive multiple notifications per incident.
  • Use of the notification services must abide by the PagerDuty Acceptable Use Policy.
  • PagerDuty reserves the right to investigate suspicious or potentially problematic use, and to prevent, throttle, or block any notifications that are abusive or have detrimental or unfair effects on our business or on our customers. Actions taken based on abusive, detrimental, or unfair uses will not be counted as delivery failures under the Notification Delivery SLA, if it applies.
  • PagerDuty relies on service providers, and ultimately, underlying common carriers, to deliver phone calls. Notifications may be delayed or blocked based on the applicable terms and policies of these service providers or carriers.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or unconnected calls.
