Availability

Before adding the Slack | Jeli integration, you’ll need to create an account with Jeli to set up a license. Jeli is available with PagerDuty's Enterprise plan for Incident Management. Please visit the Jeli signup page to create an account, or contact our Sales Team to upgrade to an account plan with this feature.

To Configure the Integration

In Jeli

Admin permissions are required to add integrations in Jeli.

In Slack

You will need user permissions that allow you to add of applications to your Slack workspace. Please contact your Slack administrator to adjust your permissions or install the integration.

How it Works

  • Connect Jeli to your Slack workspace via Slack's app directory.
  • Jeli captures incident alerts from Slack channels and presents the data for review in the Jeli web app.
  • Jeli provides insights and recommendations based on the analysis to improve future responses.

Integration Walkthrough

In Jeli

  1. In the Jeli webapp, navigate to Settings Integrations Slack.
  2. Click Connect a workspace, which will take you to a Slack authorization page.
    1. If you use Slack Enterprise Grid, you will need to add Jeli to each workspace in which you'd like to use the integration. Click Connect a workspace for each Slack workspace you want to add Jeli to.
  3. Click Allow to authorize and complete the integration.

Note: Completing the integration with Slack will also install the Jeli incident response bot to your Slack workspace.
