Supported Countries

PagerDuty offers multiple notification options. You can receive email, Slack, and push notifications anywhere in the world; however, the availability of SMS and phone notifications varies depending on your country and your PagerDuty account's status (paid or trial).

If you plan to receive SMS or phone notifications in a country that is not listed in the previous section (for example, while traveling), functionality may be limited and delivery is not guaranteed. If your PagerDuty account was created prior to February 12, 2024, you may have legacy access to SMS and/or phone notifications in additional countries not listed in the previous section.

Text Notifications

PagerDuty sends notification requests to its provider partners in these countries, however local SMS carrier restrictions and/or government regulation may limit delivery. PagerDuty strongly recommends removing URLs from all user-generated content, reviewing content for any sensitive categories, and setting up push notifications as your primary notification method in these regions.

** Due to local regulations, voice calls to Germany are anonymized. Do not rely on caller ID to display "PagerDuty," even after downloading the vCard.

Test Notifications

You can send test notifications to make sure your contact methods are configured correctly. To mitigate fraud and abuse, test notifications for SMS and phone contact methods are not allowed in the following countries:
