User Opt In

As indicated in the PagerDuty terms of service(or applicable negotiated customer terms), PagerDuty users must provide the appropriate consent to receive WhatsApp notifications.

To begin receiving PagerDuty WhatsApp notifications, users must provide a supported phone number and agree to receive notifications using WhatsApp in Contact Information .

Blocking WhatsApp

Admins: To block WhatsApp as a notification channel for your organization, contact [email protected].

User Opt Out

To opt out or stop receiving PD notifications via WhatsApp, users can:

• Reply STOP in the WhatsApp conversation
  • If a user would like to opt back in after opting out, they can reply START in the WhatsApp conversation and follow the prompts.
• Switch back to SMS
• Delete the WhatsApp contact method from their profile
