User Profile

Your user profile is where you configure personal settings, contact information, and notification rules to receive incident notifications.

Access Your User Profile in the Web App

  1. In the top right corner of the web app, navigate to your User Icon My Profile.

Configure the following items in your user profile:

My ProfileAdd your name, job title, biography, language, and time zone. Your recent activity appears at the bottom of the page.

Contact InformationEnter your contact information to receive PagerDuty incident notifications.

Notification RulesSet up rules to determine how and when you receive notifications about PagerDuty incidents. These rules apply to both the frequency of notifications and the methods used (push notifications, phone calls, SMS, email, or Slack). You can configure different sets of rules for high- and low-urgency incidents, and when incidents change.

User SettingsConfigure login information, view your user role, manage linked accounts and applications, and other settings.

Permissions and Teams
(Available only with advanced permissions)
Review your base role, teams you are a part of, and team roles assigned to you.

On-Call ShiftsThis tab offers a single overview of your shifts across all escalation policies and schedules.

The My On-Call Shifts section shows whether you are on call now, with a list of your associated shifts and their schedule for the upcoming weeks and months. It is also available as a widget on the right side of the incidents page, which shows your current shift and your next on-call time.

You can create override shifts across multiple schedules because all shifts are accessible in one place. For more information, refer to My On-Call Shifts.
SubscriptionsManage your business service subscriptions. After subscribing to a business service, you can receive status updates when there is an incident on a supporting technical service. Status update notifications are configured on the Notification Rules tab of your user profile.
